Welcome to the SV Ubers team thread! This thread is dedicated to showcasing teams that have excelled on the ladder or in tournaments within the SV Ubers metagame. The thread serves as a space where you can display your teams without the need for an extensive Rate My Team (RMT) analysis. As long as your team is viable within the SV Ubers metagame, feel free to share it here (no gimmicks allowed!!).

  • Please only provide teams that are compatible with DLC 2. Teams from DLC 1 or pre-DLC will be outdated and ineffective in the current metagame.
  • If you want feedback for your teams, post it in the RMT section.
  • Offer constructive suggestions, avoiding random comments to maintain clarity.
  • Encourage meaningful discussions, while avoiding arguments.
  • Provide comprehensive details, including EVs, natures, and sets in Showdown! importable format.
Each team submission must include a description with the archetype (e.g., Balance, Hyper Offense, Stall) and three lines of analysis for each Pokémon.
  • Sprites are optional but appreciated.
  • Limit three teams per post for clarity and organization.

More information about posting can be found here.

This is a classic team. Scarf Koraidon doing scarf Koraidon stuff, Calyrex the anti webs, Arceus Water being protection against most physical threats, Clodsire to slow down Miraidon and also to ruin Grimmsnarl teams with toxic spikes, Ho oh does Ho oh stuff, and Flutter Mane is damage dealer. For whatever reason, it has power gem which means that Ho oh doesn't really give it that much problems

Last team is one I made built around Giratina. Spamming poltergeist is really amusing and it + shadow sneak often nets key kills. Of course, ground immunity and ghost typing also helps. Arceus Water and Ho oh does the same things as my first team and this time, Ting Lu takes Clodsire's place. The same goes for Calyrex and Koraidon

Also, why are the first and third teams so similar? Because Ubers is so fvcking restricting that deviating from a proven structure can be troublesome, especially since ladder has so much random sht going around if below 1500 elo

Update on my webs HO team since cancer respects got banned. Basculegion's been replaced with offensive dd NDM because that can abuse webs fairly well. Ekiller and Calyrex are still the anti offense mons with the obligatory Koraidon. Rayquaza is just for fun and really, when webs is up, that dd will come in handy or if the opponent doesn't have the chance to setup rocks

Motorcycles + Tera Fairy Kingambit Offense

Motorcycles + Tera Fairy Kingambit Offense Paste

So the future motorcycle was saved from being axed in its suspect, so now I can post this team. I’ve gotten to the 1500s with this team and float consistently in the 1400s. Koraidon provides the speed control for this team, with Tera Ghost keeping it from being Extreme Speed revenge-killed. Spec Miraidon provides massive offensive pressure with Solar Beam to nail switch-ins such as Ting-Lu and Ground-ceus. Tera Fairy dodges attacks from opposing Miraidons and Koraidons. Zacian-C punishes Ribombee web leads with Substitute and can easily sweep teams from there. Tera Flying can gain an extra turn of setup or damage, allowing Zacian-C to 1 v 1 Necrozma-DM. Arceus-Ground is the team’s soft-check to Miraidon and potent set up sweeper with Dragon Dance. Recover keeps up longevity but can be replaced for Taunt. Tera Ghost prevents most revenge-killing. Kingambit has a pretty original set from me. Tera Fairy Tera Blast pulls a funny flip on the Koraidon matchup. Dread Plate maximizes Kingambit’s revenge killing potential. Skeledirge is a blanket Mon for physical attackers such as Zacian-C, Koraidon, and Necrozma-DM.

Covert Cloak Arceus and Calyrex-Ice Bulky Offense

Covert Cloak Arceus and Calyrex-Ice Bulky Offense Paste

Got reqs for the Last Respect suspect using this team. It originally had Basculegion-M as a Trick Room sweeper, but with Last Respect banned I replaced it with Ting-Lu, which helps with Miraidon and provides hazards to ease sweeping for Zacian-C and Calyrex-Ice.
Koraidon is Scarf and provides speed control while Tera Ghost blocks Extreme Speed. Miraidon Choice Spec is the usual nuke with Solar Beam coverage for Ting-Lu and Arceus-Ground. Zacian-C can easily sweep behind a substitute. Tera Flying buys setup opportunities against Arceus-Ground and Necrozma-DM. Covert Cloak with Taunt allows Arceus to 1 v 1 Ho-Oh without getting burned. This is great since Ho-Oh who gives the other physical sweepers on this team problems. Earthquake over Shadow Claw to hit Zacian-C and Necrozma-DM. Although this Arceus can’t hit Giratina-O, this teams has plenty of other ways to handle it. Calyrex-Ice under Trick Room is a great late game cleaner. Heavy-Duty Boots allows Calyrex-Ice to set Trick Room even with extreme hazard conditions. Tera Fire makes Calyrex-Ice burn proof and allows it to safely set up Trick Room against Koraidon and Zacian-C. Ting-Lu checks Miraidon, while Zacian-C helps it check Choice Specs Miraidon. Spikes is deadly in this metagame and will quickly wear down opposing teams, while Scarf Koraidon tears Heavy-Duty Boots Miraidon.

This is the team I used to get the reqs for the cancer respects suspect. I had Excadrill on here because I didn't realize that Glimmora had memento. Gleam on it because don't waste time with Koraidon. Kill it. Aside from Glimmora, everything else is the same when I used an Excadrill to get the reqs. The only thing to keep in mind here is to preserve Arceus as much as possible when facing webs because this will be the biggest help

This team I wanted to experiment with that pesky scorpion in the tier. Serves as a pseudo check to Miraidon, mainly just to prevent it from spamming electro drift and Arceus fairy means Miraidon can't recklessly spam dragon moves. Koraidon and Calyrex does their own things while Kyogre is a fake Kyogre check and hopefully cripples an incoming Koraidon. Necrozma is to deal with Zacian

This is the latest stuff I came up with. CM Arceus ground to offensively deal with Miraidon. Ho oh, is for whirlwind and emergency tera fairy against opposing Koraidon. Zacian does Zacian things, double bikes means more trouble, and Necrozma for anti Zacian duties. This team was kinda inspired by another team shared on Smogon that was used in the recent UWC. I made some modifications to it to suit my personal playstyle. The EV spread for the scarf Koraidons also came from that team

Can you do one with Bundle?
Not really. That thing's too frail to do anything with. I did find this team used by pokeaim in his Miraidon suspect video

Ok makes sense
